  I am a 3rd year B.tech Aerospace Engineering student.
  
  
• What he is going to do...
  I maintain my hostel website, located at http://hostels.iitm.ac.in/tapti .
  
  
• What he sees his Role as the Alumni Affairs Secretary of Tapti to be...
  My duties include: maintaining a current alumni database which will be updated periodically, so that alumni are constantly informed about the events in hostel, and  to actively participate in the institute alumni affairs. 
   
• What his other interests are...
  I am interested in aerodynamics of  aerofoils and flow visualization softwares . Apart form this, I am very enthusiastic about various space missions undertaken by isro and projects like LCA i.e.undertaken by Hindusthan aeronautics limited.  Other interests: stock markets, playing cricket.
  
  
• His perception of Alumni ...
  I look up to the alumni as the dynamic leaders who strive to bring the institute and the nation to a whole new level. Students look up to them for inspiration and guidance to face the challenges coming forth in the future. Their invaluable experience is pretty much needed to train the future enterprenuers  to have a clear understanding. I think they would like to re-live their bygone days once more..
   
• What he would like to see happen in the Alumni Association ...
  I would like to see an environment of healthy interaction based on the experineces they have had in their career both as a student and as a professional. Also, i feel it would be better to provide an interactive online forum for alumni-student interaction through frequently used mailing systems  where there is a common platform to exchange our views and ideas. Doubts and questions from the students will be collected and posted here, to which the alumni can reply.
