• What he is studying to be..
   I am doing my final year of Dual Degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering. I would like to continue my career in Research after this by taking up PhD.

• What he sees his Role as the Alumni Affairs Secretary to be
  As an Alumni Affairs Secretary, I am a bridge between the students of my hostel & our Alumni. I have to keep in touch with the Alumni of my hostel & try to increase the interaction between students & Alumni. One of my main duties is to maintain my hostel website. Also I should work at the institute level with other Alumni secretaries to help Alumni Association carry out its activities.

• His perception of Alumni..
  Our Alumni had reached great heights & form a great inspiration to us. They can help us by sharing their knowledge with us which will help in building up our careers. This can be done by increasing the interaction with them.
  I am keen that our Alumni want to stay in touch with us. So I will try to get in touch with as many as possible & get them involved with the hostel. The website can form a great tool for this. I wanted my website to be useful for both the students of my hostel & our Alumni as well. I would like to update my website frequently so that it shows what is happening in the hostel currently. Also I would like my website to have information which is useful for the residents of the hostel as well.
  
  
• What he would like to see happen in the Alumni Association with respect to involving Student Interaction..
  At present, I feel that the interaction between the students & Alumni is not considerable. The current students will be more than happy to know how their seniors have performed & the challenges they faced. Also our Alumni are also interested to know more about our hostel which had been a paradise to them during their stay here. So I want the Alumni Association to take steps to increase the interaction between them & also assist in building up the careers of students.
