A. What is the Product or Service?
To create, facilitate, provide meaningful internship opportunities for current IITM Students at the undergraduate and post graduate level, both in India and outside India.
B. Who is it for?
The primary target audience is:
- The current BTech/BSc students of IITM at end of second and third years
- Post Graduates at Summer and Project Phase
- IITM Alumnus pursuing higher education in India, USA, Canada, Rest of the world

B. Internship Practices (USA, Canada, ROW)
- All students allowed to work during the course part-time, up to 20 hrs a week.
- Summer Intern full time
- CPT (work allowed for one year after 2 semesters, before completion of the course)
- OPT (work allowed for one year after completion of the course)
Interns participate in Career Fairs - Internship Practices other than US
- Canadian Universities practices may be similar
- Inputs needed from Europe and rest of the world
C. Web-facilitated Internships
- Internship opportunities open to IIT Madras Students and Alumni
- Internship positions could be offered by any recognized University / Industry
- Cost of Internship advertisement to be reasonable
- Could be a committee of Faculty and interested Alumnus to ensure proper functioning of the web based Internship process
